Despite censorship, The Pelicot Trial reaches Belgrade! Due to budget cuts, political pressure and outright censorship Serbia’s oldest international theatre festival Bitef will not take place within its institutional framework this year. Instead, a guerrilla-style programme will take place from December 15–18 in Belgrade, featuring both international and local artists. The so called ne:Bitef will open with The Pelicot Trial by Milo Rau and Servane Dècle in the framework of RESISTANCE NOW! The full programme will soon be available online.
